This seminar offers nurses, physicians, social workers, lawyers, and other professionals the opportunity to learn more about advance care planning and advance directives. Held a little less than a month before National Healthcare Decisions Day on April 16, the seminar provides an opportunity for lawyers, nurses, physicians, and social workers to learn about all aspects of advance care planning from some of the nation’s foremost experts on advance care planning: Ira Byock, MD, Director of Palliative Medicine at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Betsy Clark, PhD, ACSW, MPH, the Executive Director of the National Association of Social Workers and Bill Colby, Esq, Senior Fellow: Law and Patients Rights at the Center for Practical Bioethics. The event will be moderated by Nathan Kottkamp, Esq.
